Supported the masterplanning of a major defence precinct, contributing to the spatial organisation of 165 new and refurbished buildings across an operational military base, balancing access, security, and functionality.
Developed façade concepts aligned with the modular ‘kit of parts’ approach, establishing a cohesive architectural language across diverse facility types while meeting Defence requirements for durability, maintenance, and thermal performance.
Produced detailed façade system drawings and material specifications, integrating structural, environmental, and services considerations from early concept through technical development.
Led the production of construction documentation for multiple building types, including accommodation, training, recreational and HQ facilities, ensuring consistency with Defence standards, NCC compliance, and contractor requirements.
Collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, services, and landscape consultants, to resolve complex technical interfaces and streamline construction sequencing.
Contributed to modular detailing strategies that enhanced prefabrication opportunities, accelerated delivery, and supported the long-term adaptability of the estate.
Played a key role in design coordination and quality assurance, maintaining drawing accuracy, document control, and consultant integration throughout all project stages.

As part of the Enhanced Land Force Phase 2B initiative, this major expansion of Gallipoli Barracks supported a personnel increase from 3,000 to 4,500 through the delivery of 165 new and refurbished buildings.
The project included working accommodation for key units such as 8/9RAR, 2 CER, and 7 CSSB, along with headquarters facilities, a training area, a new sports centre and indoor pool, a 400-seat auditorium, and upgraded living-in accommodation.
A modular ‘kit of parts’ approach to cladding, structure, and services ensured consistency, cost-efficiency, and future adaptability. Careful staging and decanting strategies minimised disruption to live operations, enabling seamless integration within one of Australia’s most active military bases.
